2021 Spring Home Tour

Spring is finally in the air! Take our spring home tour below to take a peek at our home and see how several of our spaces are decorated for spring.

Oh sweet spring time! I don’t know about you, but I’ve been craving the spring season like no other. This last week our weather has been beautiful, only making me more and more excited for spring!

Today I’m so happy to be joining Marty from A Stroll Thru Life on her spring home tour. If you’re visiting me from Anita at Whispering Pines Homestead, welcome! I love Anita’s victorian home and the depth of her decorating!

We’ve had several projects going on over the last couple of months (I can’t wait to share more!), and with that, we’ve had contractors and workers coming and going constantly. Remodeling is never easy with all the mess, but since we’re that much closer to having a finished house, we’ve been excited about it! Spring cleaning is coming right up!

Our Spring Home Tour

In our entryway, I kept my digital prints, but gave things a fresh touch with the faux lavender stems…

I also picked up this vase from Target (and the smaller one too!) and I love everything about it! I’m looking forward to moving it throughout the house… it’s also an incredible dupe for a much more expensive version

I also added in this pretty candle, layered with a few decorating books…

In our living room, I switched some of the pillow covers, as well as the decor on our bookshelves…

I love to layer my book collection with decor items. It makes a cozy little spot in our living room…

This is still one of my favorite corners of the house. No matter how much remodeling is going on, this space remains our sanctuary…

Our kitchen has been one of the spaces we’ve really been working on and we’re this close to being finished with everything! I can’t wait to share the finished space with you, but since this is the heart of our home, I’m including a few peeks into our space…

Our kitchen is small, but mighty in style. Our laminate backsplash and countertops (yes, really!) create a stunning display. No one ever believes me when I say it isn’t real marble…

And now that we’ve built and installed our vent hood (tutorial coming soon!), this space is feeling more finished than ever…

My favorite spot is this little area by the cooktop. I love the way my wooden spoons, rolling pins and all of my other items combine to create this stunning little scene…

We’ve come so far in this home, and it’s little “moments” like these that keep me going. It feels like home.

  1. You guys really have made some amazing changes to your home and that kitchen peek is gorgeous. I love how you used the “marble” on the backsplash. Stunning. Thanks so much for joining the tour again this season,

  2. What a pretty home you have! I love the kitchen backsplash and your crock full of spoons and rolling pins. Thanks so much for the tour!

  3. This is my first visit to your beautiful home. I am so excited to see your full kitchen remodel reveal.
What a blessing and worth every speck of dust – it’s looking great there. Yay!!!!

    Happy soon-to-be spring!

  4. So glad to see your Spring home and to learn that I am not the only laminate gal!!!! It sure has come a long way baby:)
Thanks for sharing your beautiful home:)

  5. Thank you for showing and telling us about it. I really liked that despite the small kitchen you have it very light and seems spacious. Also, like many others, I am really surprised that your apron is made of laminate. After all, it actually looks like a stone! In general, I really liked your ideas and repairs. I think I will look at a few more of your articles and I will be able to decide on a new renovation because it is already necessary. And you also have wonderful bookcases. I just could not take my eyes off them, as they are very aesthetic. Thanks for sharing ideas and photos. Very nice.
