Welcome, I’m Shayna!
The small town Colorado girl who’s obsessed with home and everything that entails! I’m a creative, a decorator, and I’m passionate about loving where I live and making a home.
I’m only slightly obsessed with scones (Scone of the Month, anyone?), happy endings, and a big believer that hardships make us better, if only we hand it over to God and let Him lead the path of our story.
By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.

My Story
A few years ago, I had everything I thought I’d always wanted. A marriage, a new house and a business I was creating from the ground up. Then, things went to the wayside. My marriage ended, I moved out of my house, and then eventually sold it. My creative energy disappeared and my business, this very blog and online shop came to a halt.
I thought my story had ended, but it turns out, God had something even better in store for me. Before, when I thought I had everything I’d always wanted, I realized quickly that wasn’t even half of what God really had planned.
It wasn’t until I gave up, and gave in, that He changed my story.
Now, I live with my sweetheart of a husband Todd, and our baby girl Ania, in our fixer-upper of a house. We have our work cut out for us, but I’ve found the hard work is always worth it. Isn’t that the truth for most things?
Join me as I share my love of home. Be that decorating, remodeling, cooking or gardening. I’m always working on something, and always trying to create a home we love spending time in. There really is no place like home, and I’m so happy you’re here.
