Summer Home Tour
Hi there! Today, I’m joining 23 other amazing bloggers by sharing our summer home tour! 😀
Really, we keep things pretty simple around the WGC. I love to move things around, but I definitely don’t completely redecorate the house for each season, expect for maybe Christmas. Instead, I like to make small changes, adding flowers, bringing the outdoors in, and enjoying the fresh fruits and vegetables that are so plentiful this time of year.
Truth be told, that’s one my very favorite things about summer.
Our kitchen island is the perfect spot to grab a snack…
And we absolutely love watermelon… yummy!
You might even notice a sneak peek of our new pantry door, which I’ll be sharing the details on next week.
I also added my Pledge of Allegiance tea towel, which I completely adore…
And lets not mention how much I absolutely love that big fluffy cotton wreath…
Our breakfast nook is also ready for summer…
I just love the fresh and vibrant colors during summer…
And these dishes have my heart completely… They’re a constant reminder of my sweet grandma.
Simple and beautiful, just the way I like it!
Our kitchen shelves haven’t changes much since spring. I just love them and I can’t make myself change it up. Odd for me, I know, but it’s true.
I’m pretty sure those limes have instantly made me thirsty for limeade, which happens to be a summer staple around here, along with sweet tea.
And our living room…
It really is all about family! From BBQ’s, to roasting marshmallows by the fire and hosting out of town family, I absolutely look forward to summer! 😀
And don’t forget to stop by and visit these other ladies and their lovely homes. Just wow. I’ve been so inspired by each and every one of them!

Your home looks so lovely and fresh. Thanks for sharing it with us. x
Luv the summery touches in your home. Especially the shelves with white dishes. Beautiful.
Gorgeous! I am impressed at the lack of dust! I have recognized the scenery in some of your pictures…I grew up in western Colorado (Loma) and I remember the dust! All the time! 🙂
I love your kitchen, it is one of my favorites and that cotton wreath is fabulous.
I love the open concept and your kitchen is beautiful!

Your kitchen and family room area are so pretty, and you have so many unique accessories! Love the pledge of allegiance towel and the USA pillow. Perfect for summer! I am completely in love with your measuring cups and that little pitcher!! If you get a minute, could you tell me where you found them? They would fit in perfectly in my kitchen.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. 🙂

Beautiful! Could you please tell me what color/brand your wood floors are stained?
Looks lovely Sis!
Beautiful tour Shayna….thanks for sharing with us. Love all of your white touches!
What a beautiful home you have made! I must say though… I LOVE the Courier and Ives dishes (your grandmother’s dishes) especially… my mum had a set we used daily while growing up and whenever I see them it brings back such treasured memories!
I just found your blog through the summer home tours. You have a beautiful home.
I especially like your kitchen layout & the cabinets. Would you mind sharing the brand & stain color of your cabinets? I really, really like the color.
I want to replace our current white cabinets with more white cabinets but, this time my husband wants wood cabinets. I think I read in one of your posts you also wanted white cabinets while your husband wanted wood cabinets.
Could you tell me what color stain you put on the cabinets? It looks black. I am thinking of doing that in mine. Just need the color. Thanks
Hi, your home is beautiful! Do you mind telling me what the name of your white paint is called? I am in the process of building a new home and love the clean white walls. The picture of your kitchen is the first that i have seen that looks like the picture I have in my head of my new kitchen. Thank you for sharing this, it helped me so much in trying to get my husband to see what I have been wanting.
Thanks again!
Thank you so much! I’m so glad this was helpful for you! The paint color is Super White by Benjamin Moore. It’s my favorite white. 🙂
