Summer Living Room Shelving
When I shared our summer home tour a few weeks ago, I completely forgot to include pictures of our living room shelving! I guess I was way too excited to show you a few other things, like my grandma’s dish set. I love that set! 😀
A while back I decided to switch up a few things in the living room. One of those being our living room shelving unit. I really wanted to see what it would look like next to the tv, so the wingback chair and shelving unit swapped places.
Don’t mind the cords, those guys drive me crazy. I guess they’re a bit necessary…
Anyways, I brought out a basket to corral all of my magazines. I have a problem I tell ya.
And of course I had to add a few lanterns, lavender and a wreath I found at the thrift store for 50 cents.
I’m really happy with how much bigger our living room looks with the shelving in that corner. Our living room is on the smaller size, so it’s nice to have a bit of extra room in that corner.
And having more space in that corner means I can take a few spinning trips on my black spinning stool. Wee! 😀
The shelves look great! I’ve been trying to figure out what to put on the other side of my fireplace and I can always use more storage…I think I need shelves like yours!
Where is the shelving unit from? Love it!
THANK YOU Jen! I bought the shelving unit from Hobby Lobby a few years back. 😀
You did a wonderful job on styling the shelves…love it! I’m pinning it to my shelf styling pinterest board.

Love how you styled the shelves, they look so pretty.
Love the shelves. I’ve been looking at some very similar…loving the industrial look!
I love it! you organized and put together all the right things on those shelves!! I love white accents and lavender is another favorite of mine. I think we could easily swap houses and feel very much at home!! Have a wonderful day and hope you will stop by the country sometime.
Hi there! I was so excited to see that you have the same piece of what I am hoping is Ironstone on your shelf. I found it at a Salvation Army store last week for $7.99. There is a bottom imprint that I can’t read. Do you happen to know anything about it?

Hello! I found my entire set at a thrift store too! Such a great find! They are the original white dishes by Pfaltzgraff. You can read more about mine here: https://www.thewoodgraincottage.com/2014/03/28/white-kitchen-shelves/ 😀
