  20. Hey Shayna! Gosh, where do I start! I love this project so much. Chunky open shelving, white stoneware, industrial style crates….I am so giddy! Pinning a few pics and shared on Facebook.

i have wanted shelves like that for what seems like forever! in place of a hutch, open shelving is totally my style and your style is simply lovely. happy to have found your blog! -ashley

  22. hi Shayna – they are so fabulous. Can I ask now that you have had them for a few months – are they still straight or has the timber bowed at all. I just worry about timber spanning that long length unsupported in the middle. I’m about to do some timber shelves in one of my rooms so would love to hear how they have held up (i know it’s only been a few months)
    cheers Fiona

Thank you so very much! We love our shelves too and haven’t had any problems with the boards warping over time. They look just like they did when we first installed them. We do live in a dry climate, but I’m not sure if that has played a role into it at all. I would easily do this project all over again! 🙂

  23. Jaclyn says:

I love this! However, I was wondering do you have any problem with the wood sagging in the middle?

  24. Donna says:

What are the different depths of shelving.

  25. Jennifer says:

Just wondering what kind of wood you used for the shelves?
