Last fall I decided I wanted to plant pumpkins. Lots and lots of pumpkins. I kept imagining a front porch full of them, so this spring I planted 4 different varieties. Fast forward a few months and I literally have pumpkins coming out of my ears. But, that's not really a problem, is it? Especially for a heart that loves fall. And another reason having baskets full of pumpkins isn't a problem? Fall tablescapes. That's right, today I'm bringing you another fall table idea, only this time, it's all about the pumpkins from my garden. I'm so happy Shannon from AKA Designs asked me to join in on her fall tablescapes tour. Let's get started, shall we? Since this fall table is all ...

Fall Table Setting
Fall is such a lovely time of the year. All the colors, the textures and the spectacular golden hour. It's all just so beautiful, and more than anything I wanted to capture that feeling, that magic, in my fall table setting this year. I am so happy and honored to be joining another amazing group of bloggers and to be sharing our fall table settings, all brought together by Alicia from A Burst of Beautiful. In keeping with my simple, nature loving heart, I wanted the focal of my table to focus on just that... the beauty of nature during fall! Combining it all together in a cornucopia seemed like the perfect way to bring it all together. I'll share how I created the fall ...

The Simple Thanksgiving Table Sources
Yesterday I shared how I created the simple Thanksgiving table. I love a pretty table for the holidays, but am all about doing it with what I have on hand, and on a budget. Below, I'm sharing the sources for each and every item I used to create our table. When I started decorating our table for Thanksgiving, I realized just how much I love to reuse items from our home. I love to give each and every item we own a multipurpose meaning. Sure, a wreath is know for hanging on a wall or door, but why not use it as a centerpiece? Same for the blanket I used as the table cloth. Decorating is about thinking outside of the box, and using what you have on hand in new, creative ways. Now, I ...
The Simple Thanksgiving Table
I can hardly believe it, but Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Most of us are probably in the early stages of planning, but today I thought I'd share the simple Thanksgiving table. No worry, no fuss, just a simple gathering to enjoy your family and friends. As you probably know, I always tend to decorate on the simpler side of things. Simple is in my blood. But just because something is simple, doesn't mean it's not beautiful. This year, I've created the simple Thanksgiving table. It's the table that doesn't leave room for stress, but focuses instead on the family gathering. It's the table that doesn't overwhelm guests, making them feel uncomfortable, but instead ...
Thanksgiving Black & White Pillow
Can you believe Thanksgiving is right around the corner? I guess time flies when we're having fun, right? :-D As much as I love, love, love Thanksgiving, it's been hard for me not to skip right to Christmas. We won't be hosting family, so I've been transitioning things over to Christmas. But still, I've been adding a few small touches that really stop and make me think about what Thanksgiving is all about. It's easy to forget how blessed we are. There's always something better to have, items to upgrade and new things to add to the never ending wishlist. I know I'm guilty of it. But Thanksgiving always puts things into perspective for me. I am blessed. So, today I'm sharing our ...
Thanksgiving Table Setting
Thanksgiving is truly one of my favorite Holidays. I love gathering together as a family and sharing the undeniable feeling of pure grateful bliss. It's easy to get caught up with life, with what we don't have, with our never ending wish list, but it's important to remember the things we do have. We are blessed, and I don't ever want to be un-grateful for all the incredible blessing that we have been given. That's one of the reasons I decided to create my Thanksgiving burlap placemats. They're the perfect, gentle reminder for us to be grateful and to give thanks. It's so incredibly important. And even though Anthony and I will be traveling to spend Thanksgiving with his family, I ...
Thanksgiving Table Setting
I know that Thanksgiving is a few weeks away for us US folks, but I couldn't help and decorate our table! And since it's $30 Thursday, I decided to use the challenge to create something new for our table! In case you're new here, $30 Thursday is a monthly challenge where April from House By Hoff and Jen from Migonis Home test ourselves to create unique and easy ideas that can be made for $30 or less. This month, we focused our attention on table settings! Here's what I came up with: I brought out my grandma's dinnerware.... and set it on top of our handmade wooden chargers, tutorial coming soon! And remember those denim leaves that I shared a while back? Well, I ...
Thankful Tree
Lately I've been focusing on our blessings... there are so many.... With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, I felt our home needed to have a daily display as a reminder for us to be continually thankful for each and every blessing that happens in our lives. It's an unbelievably pretty display, and one that catches my attention constantly. I started with a tree limb from outside (much like this one), then pulled a plastic pot out of the garden shed and stuffed it with some green foam. From there I stuck the tree branch into the foam and wrapped the pot with burlap and tied it together with jute twine. Easy! The next part was the most time consuming. I knew there wasn't anyway ...
