Budget Friendly Wall Sconce Options
See my favorite collection of budget friendly wall sconce options and where I love to include them throughout my home.
With our house build coming up, I’ve been taking a deep dive into many different things. I’ve been picking and choosing and putting together plans for several different rooms throughout the house. I really can’t wait to share these (the kitchen is coming together so beautifully!), but thought it would be fun to share some of the sources I’ve been finding and considering.
Today I’m sharing several really good budget friendly wall sconce options.
One of the elements in our new build that I’ve worked hard not to overlook, is our lighting. In each room, I like to have at least two to three lighting sources.
The first, is ceiling lighting. Whether that’s recessed lighting or ceiling fixtures, it’s important to have good over head lighting.
The second, is lamp lighting. In my humble opinion, most spaces need lamp lighting. Not only do they look great any time of the day, but they add such a cozy element when it’s time to turn them on.
The third, is sconce lighting. If I could add sconce lighting to every single room in my house, I would. In a heart beat. And while we are adding a good amount of wall sconces throughout the house (& still being budget conscious), I’ve been prioritizing which spaces are most important for hard wired wall sconces.
Budget Friendly Wall Sconce Options
Wall sconces are such a great way to add style and function into any space. I love to add them throughout my house, and you’ll be seeing a lot of them in our new build, but here are some great ideas to get you started…
I love to put them in our bathrooms on each side of the mirror…
In the kitchen above shelves or windows…
On the wall framing each side of the window…
Wall sconces are great at highlighting artwork, mirrors or anything else. They can also stand on their own and act as artwork themselves.
Lighting adds so much character and I love searching for budget friendly options!

I hope this was helpful for you! Since I’m constantly sourcing items for our house build, I’ll be sharing more great finds along the way!
I absolutely agree that lamp light is mandatory in my homes! And sconces are amazing too. I love my high hats in the kitchen but once I’m done cooking I turn them off and put my lamp on. Yep, I even have a couple lamps in my kitchen. Your homes are always so beautiful, warm and welcoming!
Yes, lamp lighting is the best! And they’re even better in the kitchen! 🙂
