2019 Christmas Home Night Tour

Is there anything better than the glow and twinkling lights the Christmas season provides? I don’t think so, which is why today I’m so happy to share our Christmas Home Night Tour! I’m joining Rachel from Maison de Pax and a group of other amazing bloggers and we’re opening up our doors to share all those beautiful, festive lights we love!

If you’re visiting from KariAnne at Thistlewood Farms, welcome! I’m so happy to have you here. KariAnne has such a beautiful home!

It’s interesting, isn’t is, how much cozier our homes look at night with just the glow of the Christmas tree and a few lamps? It’s one of my very favorite things about all the decorations for the season. In my mind, there’s something very special and magical about curling up next to the tree with a warm blanket and taking in all those beautiful lights.

This little corner continues to be a favorite spot of mine in the entire house…

I love how the ornaments on the tree suddenly take on a new appearance too, shining just a little bit different…

Oh, that pretty glow…

Even the greenery around the house takes on a new appearance…

In the evenings, we mainly use lamp lighting. It adds another layer of cozy, especially with the Christmas tree. As soon as the sun starts to set, I walk around the house closing the curtains and turning on all of our main floor lamp lights…

In our kitchen, the warm lights from our sconce lighting really creates a nice ambiance…

I can’t wait to finish our kitchen next year, but in the mean time it feels so cozy and I’m loving the wreath in the window…

That’s our tour for the year! It’s going to be so fun to look back on this over the next several years and see how much we change and progress with our long list of projects.

Next up on the tour, is Kelly Elko. She has such a beautiful home and I can’t wait to see it all lit up at night!
