The small town Colorado girl who’s obsessed with home and everything that entails! I’m a creative, a decorator, a day dreamer, a huge fan of scones, and I’m passionate about loving where I live and making a home.
I'm Shayna
Last week Anthony and I, with the help of our families, loaded up our truck and trailer and headed to Salt Lake City, Utah for The Vintage Whites Market. It was such a whirl wind of a few days, but it’s so much fun making it all come together.
And just like the market in Colorado, Utah was very successful as well! We are so grateful!
Today, I thought I’d share a recap from the market, as well as pictures of our booth space…
We set the space up similar to our last show since it worked so well. I’ve found the flow of the booth is very important! It’s nice to have an obvious pathway so you know exactly how to walk thru and look at the booth.
This time though, we used the back wall as our main focal point. We hung up our sign, then added the lights to make it seem a bit more dramatic…
We used basic garden hangers to mount the lights to the wall. Not only did they give us the extra height, but they really made the lights stand out.
And then for a bit of symmetry, we hung those big, beautiful boxwood wreaths on either side of the lights…
You also might notice a few new items that we debuted at the market. Those lovely sweet tea signs are one of them. They will be available in our online shop soon!
I also brought 4 new pillow designs. They will each be available in the online shop too. Here’s a little peek…
We also had plenty of our wood candle holders. They are a very popular item…
And the ribbon too!
Anthony and I also decided that we didn’t want to sell our big beautiful table. You’ll definitely be seeing more of it, as its new home is in the loft with the online shop! But having it in the booth is essential. It’s such a prime place to display items in a lovely way…
We had lots of pretty dinnerware, as well as the burlap placemats…
And, of course, stackable crates…
We did add in a bunch of fresh, colorful apples. They really helped with our displays. They bring in that pop of color, while also making it all seem real and home-y.
And all that lovely dinnerware… swoon…
Plenty of lavender and lavender pillows… such a lovely smell to have floating around all day!
I also brought bunches of the red and blue stripe tea towels we use in our home. They’ll be available online too…
Here’s a few other views of the booth…
Amongst other things, we completely sold out of our wood ladders and metal wall organizers…
Lots of pretty cotton too, which will also be available online…
We had such a great time! And as soon as we got home, we unloaded the trailer and moved all the extra items up to our loft. The online shop area is starting to come alive! Now that this market is over, we are shifting our complete attention to finishing the loft and getting everything set up. I’m really hoping to have everything ready to go in just a few short months (think May!), but we have so much to do before we can officially launch.
In the mean time, I’m working on a total site re-design. We’ll have the shop connected right along with the blog, so you’ll be able to shop and read the blog all in one place. It should be less confusing, and more user friendly! At least that’s what we’re shooting for!
And in other news, if you haven’t had a chance to stop by my Joss & Main sale, there is still time!
Oh- and I know the Fixer Upper has completely dropped off the surface of this blog (whoops!), and many of you are wondering about it! Stay tuned next week for a new update!! 😀
Thank you so much for reading!

Will you be selling the lavender on your online shop?

Lovely.
Beautiful!
So glad it was a success for you. I can’t wait to shop.
Hi Shayna~
So funny you mentioned your Fixer Upper – I was just wondering about that the other day.
So glad to see pictures of it….It’s beautiful….if I lived near there I would be purchasing it.
Your show looked beautiful and so professional – I love so many thing you have especially the blue and white dishes. I hope you have them on your online store.
Best of luck with everything.
Rose.
I can’t wait either. Love everything you do. I wish I could have gone to see you. You are 22 hours away
I wish I was close enough to go to the show so I could see everything in person! I would leave there broke! I can’t wait for the online shop! I’ve got my wish list started!!!
I love the way you display things! You have such a creative eye and a way of putting ordinary things together to make them beautiful!
Love your site, Shayna. Hey, I’m dying to get my hands on some of those cotton stems. Magnolia Market wanted to charge a RIDICULOUS amount for shipping. Any idea where I can get some shipped to me in CA for a decent price? Thanks!
Hi Shelly! I love that cotton too! We will be carrying it in our online shop, and I’ll do my best to make sure shipping is reasonable! I hope that helps! 🙂
I’m really looking forward to the opening of your online shop. Can’t wait!
Your both is awesome!!! I can’t decide what I like the most…..boxwood wreaths, the pillows, signs, tea towels oh my. This looks like it was such a great show and I am sure you have a wonderful time. Wished I could have visited, but it is a bit far from the East coast. Looking forward to your online shop!!!!
Hi, your booth space looks so awesome! I know it is a lot of work to put on a show like that, but it looks like so much fun too! Can’t wait for your on line shop to open, will you have the blue & white dinnerware pictured for sale?
Kind regards,
Cathy
The booth looks awesome! I’m sure it was quite successful! Presentation is everything!
Congratulations on your successful show. Your booth set up is lovely. I especially am drawn to the items you made.
You mentioned in your post for your previous show that you made the metal table top. Could we persuade you to tell us how it was done?
I look forward to shopping in your on-line shop.
All the best on your new adventure.
Donna
Thank you so very much for your sweet comment, Donna! I’m so happy you’re excited to shop our online store! We greatly appreciate your support! 🙂
For the table top, Anthony works in a welding shop, so I sent the table with him and told him what I wanted. He formed the stainless, welded the corners, glued it on the table, then buffed the table and corners smooth. I wish I could share a tutorial, but I didn’t take any pictures of him doing it. Sorry! I hope that helps though! 🙂
Your booth is so beautiful!! What talent you have! I can’t wait for your online shop to open either! Just curious do you make most of your things yourself?
Thank you so very much for the sweet comment, Cheri! I’m so happy you’re excited about our online shop! Yes, we do make most of our items ourselves. There are filler items that I get from distributors, but the other things are made with love by us in our shop & home! I hope that helps! 🙂
I love everything in your booth!
I really really want one of the wood peg racks!
It would mean re-vamping a wall but I love those & the lavender, pillows, wreaths, the list goes on!
Can’t wait to check out your on-line shop.
How do I purchase a chalk board?
Sizes, prices, shipping cost?
Thanks for sharing the shop!
Is there an online shop for your stuff? I love it all!
Thank you so much, Dawn! We are in the process of opening our online shop, so stay tuned! 🙂
Gorgeous display…happy I found your blog this morning via Bless’er House. Looking forward to seeing your shop!! Do you have a date in mind?
Thank you so very much! I’m so happy you found me! Welcome! Our online shop should be open sometime in May. The exact date is still TBD. 🙂
I love everything you have pictured here. Beautiful booth display. May I ask if you built the walls of your booth? Or were those provided by your venue ?
Thank you so much, Karlee. We build our own walls and take them with us! 🙂
Hello,
I give a vintage market in California and my vendors are always trying to think of ways to create walls. Would you mind sharing how you created the walls in this booth? I would love to be able to give suggestions to my vendors.
Thank you,
Judy
Can I ask how you built your walls?? Im working on display booth for a show and I LOVE the simplicity of yours!
Do you have a store I can come look at your warehome prouducts?
I’m sorry, but I don’t have a store. We should be back to selling online soon! 🙂
