DIY Wicker Basket Mirror
Today for $30 Thursday, I thought it would be fun to share another easy and cheap project! Those are my favorite types of projects! 😀
In case you’re new here, $30 Thursday takes place on the first Thursday of the month and Jen from Migonis Home and April from House by Hoff join me in giving you easy ideas that can be made for $30 or less!
And this month, I’m sharing one simple, but pretty project! Here’s my DIY Wicker Basket Mirror:
How pretty is that? And seriously, it’s so easy to make. If you have a hot glue gun, you’re set! 😀
I started with a basic round wicker basket. I picked mine up at our local home/ craft store, but you can find them anywhere, including thirft stores! Next, I bought a mirror at the same craft store. I made sure it fit inside on the bottom of the basket…
Then, I flipped over the mirror and added bunches of hot glue…
Once I had enough hot glue, I centered the mirror in the basket and pressed them together…
Once the hot glue was cool, I simply hung the basket from a nail. Done and done!
I’m absolutely thrilled with how it looks…
Thanks to the basket, this mirror has loads of texture…
You’ve probably seen it floating around our fall home tour too!
And there you have it! An easy project that looks expensive! Me likey! 😀
Now, here’s what April and Jen are sharing for the month!
April gave this cute step stool a makeover… and I think we all know how I feel about step stools…. 😀
And Jen is sharing this awesome birch bark chair wreath! It makes me think of Christmas…
Don’t forget to follow our $30 Thursday Pinterest board. It’s loaded with great projects that are all under $30! 😀
Love this idea and love your vignette too.
What a great idea! It adds such great texture to the space.
What was the name of the craft store where you found the mirror? I love it!
I love that black and white striped pillow. Did you make it, or buy it?
Thank you so much, Lacy! The pillow is actually just a cover, and I bought it at IKEA. 😀
Love the mirror idea! It looks great hanging on your white moulding. Cool contrast. 🙂
Where did you find the mirror? I love it! If you don’t mind me asking, what was the name of the store?
Hi Suzie! I found the mirror at our local, small town craft store, Clubbs. I hope that helps! 😀
Love your rustic fall vignette! And the mirror is darling, very Pottery Barnish!
Thanks for sharing your new DIY $30 project. It turned out great! What a neat idea. But I truly love the elongated wicker basket next to it as well. Where did you pick that one up?
I have been looking for one like that, for my front door.
Blessings!
Thank you so much! I found the long basket at our local craft store. They have a whole, huge section! 🙂
Oh my goodness! Such an amazing DIY – it turned out great!!
