Easter Table Setting
The world feels heavy right now… Let’s brighten our spirits and bring beauty to our homes this Easter with this fresh and classic Easter table setting.
With everything that’s going on in the world right now, I know the last thing you may be thinking about is setting the table for Easter. But with Easter right around the corner, I still wanted to share an easy Easter table setting to help brighten our spirits. The celebration of Easter may be different this year, with each of us doing our own in-home intimate gatherings, but our desire to celebrate hasn’t changed… especially at Easter.
Today, I wanted to share a very easy and simple take on an Easter table setting that can be created with things we already have on hand. Even though I wanted to add fresh florals from the grocery store, I didn’t. Instead, I thought of a different way to create the focal point of our table. Whether you make homemade cookies like I did, or you use another dish you’re serving as the focal point, your intimate gathering will still be beautiful.
Here’s my Easter Table Setting:
For the main centerpiece, I laid out two bundles of my favorite faux tulips (linked below). They’re such a beautiful addition to the table, making it feel bright and fresh. I continue to find so many uses for these realistic faux tulips…
I also baked a batch of gluten free sugar cookies. To make decorating simple, I whipped up heavy cream with some powdered sugar as the frosting, then topped them with fresh blueberries and fresh lemon zest. They’re delicious and refreshing, and I had all the ingredients on hand. Not only will they be devoured, they also make for a beautiful centerpiece.
Not wanting to make cookies? Use your favorite casserole in place instead. Just make sure the pan isn’t too hot or it might melt the flower stems.
Setting The Table
I also wanted to keep the table setting casual. Sometimes it’s nice to focus more on the gathering, then having everything in the proper place. I used our new dinnerware set for the place settings and I couldn’t love the simple lines or bright white color more…
The black and white plaid napkins add the perfect contrast to the white plates and the round wicker chargers. Plus, they come in a set of 12 for such a reasonable price and they wash beautifully.
I also added the cutest egg serving dish. It’s such a fun addition to the table and perfect for serving deviled eggs, our favorite…
And with such a low profile, easy centerpiece, the focus of the table is more conversational and much more geared toward celebrating each other…
Here’s a few more pretty pictures, just because we could all use a nice escape…
