Our Halloween Front Porch

See how I easily decorated our front porch for halloween and my new favorite halloween decorating item!

Eeeek! I’m so excited to share our Halloween front porch with you! This is the first time I’ve ever really decorated for Halloween. I’m not into the gore, the blood or the scary, but bring on all the cute Halloween things! Now that we live in a subdivision, our neighbors have been warning us that we have a tremendous amount of trick or treaters. Other than my nephews in the past, I’ve never really had many trick or treaters, so this year, I thought it would be fun to add a little Halloween to our home to welcome all the cute kiddos.

Enter in: Bats. Lots of them. I bought some 3D bats several weeks ago, just waiting for the right time to hang them up. I knew I wanted them on the front of the house, and when I decorated our front window box for fall, I pulled them out and started sticking them all around our front door.

They add the perfect little pop of Halloween!

The pack I bought, had bats in varying sizes, and while I would have loved to see a few more size options in between the large bat size and the medium bat, they’re really cute surrounding our door.

Since our porch was already decorated for fall, I love that I just had to tape these up to take things to a different level for Halloween. And then, once Halloween is over, I can just pull them off, remove the stickers, and then store them away until next year.

I love how it looks like they’re flying out of the corn stalks.

And when the light hits them, the large bats sparkle…

It’s a cozy welcoming when the porch light comes on…

From pumpkins to bats, our house has fall covered! 🙂

Wishing you a happy Halloween! We have nieces and nephews coming over to help us hand out candy, and I’m planning on making a big batch of apple cider, some hot dog mummies and a few other fun Halloween treats!
