Living Room Wall Sneak Peek

Hi there!

I’m just popping in today to wish all my U.S. friends a very Happy Thanksgiving! Anthony and I have been so busy working on projects around the house, including a wall treatment in our living room. I’ve wanted to spend more time on our living room since we’ve moved in and I was finally able to get Anthony on board with it.

I’ll share the full tutorial a bit later, but in the mean time I’m just beyond happy that I’m done painting… and caulking…  for real.

But all that painting, caulking and hard work certainly paid off, because we were left with this…

It’s completely changed the way our living room feels and looks and I have so many fun ideas to really make this room feel like us…

So now that we have that big project completed, Christmas has officially moved into the living room and I’ll be sharing my Christmas home tour the first week of December! I’ve joined an amazing group of bloggers as part of a Christmas Party Tour of Homes and it’s sure to be a fabulous week!

I can’t wait… but in the mean time I have so much to do… and lots of yummy food to eat! 😀

    1. Hi Rose! It wasn’t necessarily hard, but a bit time consuming. There were a lot of cuts, caulking and painting! Tutorial coming soon! 😀

  3. Love it! I have real paneling painted this yuckie yellowish tan. That is going away as soon as I have the energy and it’s going WHITE too! Then I can accent however I want. Oh yeah and the ugly OLD stained GREEN carpet is going away too. First tho we are having the three windows, old, rotten and falling apart, replaced! Can’t wait! Oh yea and I have a HUGE fireplace that takes up almost a whole wall. Can’t decide what I am going to do with that yet. But I will with help of you and others! Thank you for posting the pictures.

  5. I love these walls!! We’re getting ready to do the same to our living room. Could you tell me what type and size boards you used to run lengthwise and how far you spaced them apart? Thank you!
