To Buy or Make: Driftwood Mirror
Do you remember my driftwood mirror?
Well, it literally didn’t cost me a penny. I had everything on hand and the driftwood was from my aunt & uncle’s ranch.
The funny thing is, I just received an e-mail from a reader showing me this:
This driftwood mirror is from One Kings Lane. And, the price is reduced from $945 to $549.
Yikes!
The only difference is the size. Mine is 30″ wide x 41″ tall and theirs is 30″ wide x 54″ tall.
I’d say that making it myself was quite the money saver!
I just had to share…
Shayna, yours looks much better! I love it!
THANK YOU so much Terri! I though it was prettier too! 🙂

I’d say yours looks about 100x better than the OKL version! 🙂
Thank you April! I thought mine was prettier too! 🙂

I concur!!! WAY more texture & beauty to your mirror!!! I just did my (long over due) subway art. Restoration Hardware wanted $800 for their version & mine a mere $25 buck a roos!!! I love how it turned out:) Now, if only I could finish my pantry door…lol;)
Blessings,
M
Awe- THANK YOU so much, M! I’m so happy to hear about your Restoration Hardware knockoff! What a money saver! 🙂

Your mirror is a lot prettier and easier on the pocket 😉
THANK YOU so much Alina! I agree! 🙂

I can’t believe the price; so expensive and yours looks much better Shayna! not kidding, the natural color of the driftwood you choose to make your mirror with is brighter and looks better! 🙂
Big difference, huh?! I couldn’t believe it… I think mine looks better too! 🙂
