Laundry Room Cabinet Hardware

Cabinet hardware makes a huge difference for cabinetry. Not only is it functional, but it’s also a great way to identify and create a style. We recently installed cabinet hardware in our laundry room, and I am completely amazed at how much it has changed the room, and how much more expensive the cabinets look!

Yes, after 4 years of living in our home, we finally have cabinet hardware in our laundry room. It’s such a great feeling, and I’m so happy I could finally make a commitment with something. 🙂

I kid you not, I have bought about 3 different types of hardware for our laundry room. They were all sitting above the washer and dryer just waiting for us to install them. But as time went on, I always lost my excitement about the hardware. And there was no way we were drilling holes into our cabinets for hardware I didn’t love.

But then, my beautiful friend shared her laundry room, and I knew instantly I utterly loved her hardware. I went online that same day and ordered them for our laundry room. And then they sat on our dryer for a few months. I knew I loved them, but I was still sooo scared to drill holes into our cabinets. Yes, I know you can fill the holes, but the cabinets are never quite the same afterwards. I wanted to be super, duper sure I would love them for the next 10 years. I know you get it.

Almost every week, I’d go into the laundry room and hold them up against the cabinets. After doing that for about a month, I decided it was finally time to install them. They were exactly what I was looking for, I was just scared to take that “final step”.

Well, as of four days ago, we finally have laundry room cabinet hardware!

And they look amazing. And pretty. And exactly what this room was missing. For four years.

But, as much as I always find myself holding back on certain design things, I’m always either relieved I waited to make “sure”, or I stand there kicking myself for waiting forever to “just do it”. This little project was a perfect combination of both those feelings. 🙂

And as funny as it may sound, this project has given me a new desire to finally “finish” this room. I’m excited about it. There really isn’t that much left to do, but I never really accessorized this room. That may just change…

  1. I used the same hardware in my kitchen along with oil rubbed bronze cup pulls for all the drawers, 2 years ago. I LOVE em! The only thing I dont like…is…the grandkids act like theyre all for play! So easy to open and fun. I painted my uuugly 17 year old oak cabinets that were orange, and I took off all my hinges, scrubbed them and spray painted them oil rubbed bronze too. Im very very happy with my kitchen. Got carried away and had my dining room and eating area lights taken down and spray painted oil rubbed bronze too. Got lots of ideas to go tho. Backsplashes and countertops?! Look out.

  2. My perfectionist soul truly understands the need to be “sure”! This hardware is perfect…a room just needs a little black to ground the space, great choice! I wonder what your followers would have chosen if you had put your choices to a vote…? Looking forward to your styling of your laundry room 🙂

  3. Hi!
I love the mix of style, chic and country warmth you have in that room! Actually I love all of your design choices and I enjoy your blog…..but to be honest, the one thing that holds me back from opening it every day are all of your ads. I understand a blog to some is a great way to make money, but when you have pop ups on ALL of your photos, as in this post, it is too much. You feel as if its being shoved in your face? I may only be one who speaks up, but I have learned where there is one, there are many who don’t have the courage to say anything.
