Fashion Friday: Layered Cable Knit Sweater
Happy Friday friends! Welcome to the second addition of the new Fashion Friday series! I’ve had so much positive feedback regarding this new addition to the blog, and I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the sweet comments, messages and e-mails. I’m so happy you’re not only embracing this new segment, but that you’re loving it too! I’m looking forward to keeping it going!
Several of the comments I received also requested more “detail” shots, and I couldn’t agree more! It seems when trying something new, there’s always a little bit of a learning curve, and exposing myself in a “fashion- forward” way is definitely a learning curve… and a leap outside of my comfort zone! 🙂 But I’m happy to say, you’ll be getting plenty of detail shots in the future with new outfits! Stay tuned!
Today, it’s all about the layered cable knit sweater look. I’m a huge lover of layering my clothes, and I’m also all about comfort. For this look, I layered together a plaid long sleeve shirt with a warm, soft cable knit sweater. It’s the perfect look for a busy day of errands, and can easily be dressed up for a night out as well. Plus, it’s really warm, which makes it perfect for fall!

I really like this fashion day. I don’t get out much so it’s fun to see what young people wear. Ohhh I did not like when my Mom said this but way back when I was ten, cable knit sweaters like these we called fishermen’s sweaters were ALL the rage!!! I felt so happy when my Mom bought me one plus red sturrup pants!!!!! Plus white go go boots❤️
