Loveland, CO Vintage Whites Market Recap

I’m sharing our Loveland, CO Vintage Whites market recap and pictures from the event. A big thank you so everyone who came and supported us!

This past weekend Anthony and I were vendors at the Loveland, CO Vintage Whites Market. I am always so honored to be included at this market. The ladies who organize the event do a fantastic job! I also love that we were able to meet sooo many of you who came to the market. Truly, seeing your smiling faces, hearing your positive words, and sharing numerous hugs made me feel so grateful for each and every one of you. So. Grateful. Thank you for being there.

And for those of you who couldn’t attend, I equally appreciate all of your love and support. Your comments do not go unnoticed. Today, I thought you would enjoy seeing our booth all set up for shopping. Our booth this year was my favorite. I spent the most time I ever have on coordinating colors, scenes, and creating the overall “flow” of the booth. We also had a huge variety of items, all of which I loved.

More than once I was asked what my favorite items in our booth were. That was such a tough question, which I’m sure you gathered as I basically listed the entire booth. Haha. 🙂

Basically, my philosophy on the booth is this: If I have a hard time selling it, I know my items, and booth, will reflect me. That is my secret each time we set up a space. And for this show, I also introduced a new pillow for our shop. I hope you love it as much as I do.

Here we go…

The idea of platters hanging along the back wall was actually born from my idea to create our plate wall in the breakfast nook. I loved it so much in our home, that I wanted to create it in our booth as well. Adding the platters to the huge chalkboards along the back wall was an amazing statement for the booth. I absolutely love the way it came together… just like I had envisioned sooo many months ago.  I love it when that happens.

From the chalkboards, we hung the ever popular animal heads (lamb, pig, heifer & horse), with the addition of the magnolia wreaths and white platters. This truly created a lovely, home-y vibe, which is exactly how I wanted it to feel.

The animal heads sold out fast. Like, really fast. You’ll be seeing them all listed in our online shop soon! 🙂

I also hand made, hand drew, hand painted several signs for the booth. I loved them all…

Anthony and I made a bunch of shelves as well. They sold out fast, and I can completely see why. They are beautiful…

And of course, we took a bunch of pillows…

Our ever popular How Great Thou Art Pillow was a big seller (we’ll be listing more in the online shop, stay tuned), and I also brought several of our other pillows, and a new one that will be listed in the online shop very soon…

The verse “As for me and my house…” is such a powerful message and statement. I am absolutely thrilled to add this new pillow design. We’ll be offering it with a variety of different backings for you to pick your favorite. Love, love, love.

Anthony built the pillow rack for me, and it was absolutely terrific for displaying them, but also for storing all of our wreaths….

Can I just tell you how amazing my husband is? Not only did he build the pillow display, but he handmade soooo many things. The center console tables that he made were a BIG hit, and I totally get it. I absolutely love them…

They were a huge part of our display, and one of the lovely ladies who purchased a console table was nice enough to let us use it as display until the end of the market. She gets a huge hug!

And boy did we have dishes…

We have some of the dishware left, so I’ll be adding it to the online shop soon. Stay tuned! 🙂

Another popular item, was the cotton stems. We sold out last year, and we sold out this year. Cotton is a very popular item. 🙂

  1. Loved the looks of your booth at the show. It looked fantastic! You and Anthony did such a great job making all of those items. You should be very proud of everything. Wish I lived close enough to attend the show. Congrats on another great show!!

  2. I wish I could have gone. not only for all the pretty things you have but I have family that lives in and near Loveland. we get a valentine card every year. I love the new pillow and I made one with that saying for my home but I used thread for the letters.

  3. Oooooo!!! I bet you were the Belle of the Ball! I am absolutely fascinated with that booth. I love those huge chalkboards with the platters on them. The entire thing is stunning! Than you so much for sharing.

  4. Wow! Fabulous in every way! Wish I lived closer…. My kind of show. How did you hang the platters on the blackboard without damaging the blackboard? Did you use the 3M hangers? Sooo talented!!!

    1. Hi Carol! Thank you so very much! 🙂 To hang the plates, we just nailed through the chalkboards we built… they are for display only, and I felt much more comfortable nailing the plates rather than sticking them on the wall. 🙂
      I hope that helps!

  5. Shayna, it was so nice to get to meet you at the Loveland show! Your booth was wonderful! And I love the scalloped platter and a pillow I purchased!

  6. The pics are fabulous, and yet they still don’t display how great your booth was in person – completely gorgeous! Beautiful things all around! Wish I had had more time to shop it – I was helping with a booth in the other building. Glad you have an online shop!

  7. your booth looked amazing . I would have spent a bunch. I love those huge shelves. Do you sell the nails or spikes that are in the one? Love that look. Glad you sold a bunch.

    1. Thank you so very much, Gail! 🙂 For the shelves, we are going to sell the brackets that we used, but the railroad spikes are only sold with the boards we make with them. I hope that helps! 🙂

      1. I am looking for some brackets for some natural white pine shelves we are putting up. I really love the way your looked in you master back on the dark walls and light wood. I didn’t see them in the store and wanted to ask are they still available to purchase these days? Thank you.

  8. Did you upholster the wing-back grain sack striped chair yourself? If so, it looks marvelous, would love to have one just like that. In fact, I didn ‘t see anything in your booth that I wouldn’t love to have in my home. Hope it was a very, very successful market for you and your husband. I can see you worked really hard on it.

  9. Wow, the booth looks fantastic! It is very apparent from the photos that you both have put a lot of love and time into creating a meaningful line of products as well as the booth design and online store set up. You have a real attention to detail which, I believe, makes you stand out from a lot of others. You should definitely give yourselves a pat on the back! I have one question for you – I’m always amazed at how much your husband does throughout the year while farming. My husband (also a farmer) is so busy for the most part of the year so I guess I’m curious to know how Anthony manages.

    1. Thank you so very much for the super sweet comment, Wendy! 🙂 And, boy… you ask a great question. Farming is such a busy job… and the hours go way beyond a “full time” job, as I’m sure you know. 🙂 First, I want to say that I am incredibly lucky to have Anthony. He is always behind the scenes, except for picture tutorials, and he always seems to find time to do projects for me. I guess to answer your question, I prioritize the projects I want to complete. I try and tackle absolutely everything I can without him. For big projects, we’ll either find time at the end of the day, or try to squeeze something in to his busy schedule. This time of year, Anthony has more time, so I try to accomplish bigger projects, and do our traveling shows, which I couldn’t do without him. I try not to “bug” or “nag” him, because I know he doesn’t enjoy it… and neither do I, so the respect is mutual. Anthony also doesn’t sit well, and he enjoys being busy, or having projects to work on… mine or his, as he has his own lists as well. 🙂

I’m not sure if I’ve answered your question, as I don’t really have a great answer. Farming isn’t just a job, it’s a lifestyle for the entire family. 🙂
