THANK YOU!

I’m in between several big projects at the moment, and a house (and front porch) full of fall decorating, but I wanted to stop in and say Thank You! I’ve wanted to write a post like this for quite some time, but never found the right words, or time, to tell you all how truly much I appreciate each and every one of you. Truly.

Blogging is so much more than I ever thought or expected. I would have never dreamed that I’d have so many amazing friends just from sharing the creative part of my heart and soul. I never would have imagined the huge support group I would have gained, or the countless blessing so many of you have wished upon Anthony and I. In so many ways, it’s downright overwhelming…. but in such an amazing way! And for that, I want to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you! You’re encouragement, blessings, comments and friendships are something I never expected to have, but I’m a better person because of them!

Fall Home Tour by The Wood Grain Cottage

As a blogger, it’s impossible to know who’s reading your posts, looking at your pictures or using you as an inspirational source. Every time I hit the “publish” button, I’m sending out a part of me into the world without knowing who exactly it’s going to… and that can be a bit scary… but, it can also be wonderful. I’m so happy I’m able to help so many of your find you’re true decorating style, or show you how to build items for your home. Blogging is a journey and I’m so beyond grateful to have you along for the ride.

With that, I want to let you know that I read each and every one of your comments. Your kind words, helpful suggestions, and positive feedback don’t go unnoticed. I wish I had the time to respond to each and every comment, but at this point, I’m only one person, and I can only do so much. I know you understand that, but I wanted it to be known that I love, and read, your comments! 😀

THANK YOU for being such a great friend, reader, and supporter of The Wood Grain Cottage. It wouldn’t be the same without you.

  5. I too look forward to your posts. Your design style is very similar to my own and you have been a huge inspiration. Keep on keeping on Shayna. 🙂

  8. Hi Shayna,

I am a fairly new follower to your blog, but I want to say I love your enthusiasm! It helps me get up and do – just create something! I don’t know why I need that push, I guess I just find so many things I HAVE to do and put on the back burner the things I love to do! But, no more, I’m a much happier and fulfilled woman when I create – like you! Ha ha Not even close to you, but I can dream!

Thanks for the thanks post, but really…THANK YOU!!!

    Kre8tiveMe,
    Cathy 🙂

  9. Hi Shayna, there are so many blogs now, but you are one of the few I read on a consistent basis – we have similar styles and your DIY projects are attainable for this single Mom with a few tools. Thank you for keeping on – I look forward to the first Fall and Christmas in our new life. Although I don’t blog anymore, I do try to keep up on my Pinterest board. Here is to a wonderful season to come. Warmly, Kris

  10. I always look forward to your posts in my inbox. I came across your blog through Pinterest on finding your style. I was sooooo glad to read that post and know that it’s okay to change your mind (even as you’re putting a paint color on the wall going, “This doesn’t totally feel like me.) I, too, love your decorating style and find tons of inspiration from your posts. Keep rockin’ the blogging world! 🙂

  11. I LOVE your blog, Shayna! It is one of a small handful that I read consistently. You truly are talented, and when I first read your post about finding your style several months ago when we first moved into our house, something in me clicked. And from then on, I no longer felt lost. Since then, I started my own blog because I felt so inspired I thought I would just explode if I didn’t share it all somewhere. So thank YOU for your creative nature and your willingness to share your adventures.

  12. Thank you for sharing this creative side of yours with all of us. I enjoy reading your blog very much and I am inspired by many of your projects. I have to tell you I decided to do a plank wall on my family room after I saw how gorgeous your planked wall in your dinning room was and followed your tutorial 😉 I will let you know when it is finished so you can tell me if I did (well, my hubby ;-), I just painted it) a good job, but so far I really like it! So thanks thanks thanks a lot! Have a great day!
