Gluten Free Banana Nut Bread

Delicious gluten free banana nut bread created from our family favorite recipe! Make it gluten free, or use all purpose flour. Either way, the results are wonderful!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Gluten Free Flour Blend, Namaste Brand Or, all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Butter Softened
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 3-4 Ripe Bananas Mashed
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans
Optional Add In's:
  • 3/4 cup Chocolate Chips Semi-Sweet

  • Loaf Pan

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. In a separate bowl, measure and sift together the flour, baking soda and salt.
  3. With an electric mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until soft and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until well combined.
  5. Add the mashed bananas and beat until well combined.
  6. Add the flour mixture and mix well.
  7. Add the chopped nuts and beat until well combined.
  8. Place in a well greased loaf pan.
  9. Bake at 325 degrees for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick insert comes out clean.
  10. Allow loaf to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
