I love mint colors I painted my living room a mint color but it is simply too bright. I wanted it more subtle and light and am looking to repaint it. As I get older, I begin to love more neutral colors but still want some colored paint, just perhaps a little toned down. Do you happen to know what color the walls are on your fourth living room picture? I’m pretty desperate. 🙂

  2. Hi Shayna, it me , Diena again. I’m having the same problem as you. I feel like we are twins from another mother and separated by decades and miles, lol because this year I’m so in love with the same color palette as you. In fact I painted my bathroom (master) the same sort of minty agua called Mystic seaport by Glidden, But it was a little darker than the sample was so i stuck with two walls of that color and the other two i painted a color called Indian painting by Glidden. I love the Indian painting, it’s sort of a light taupe. But now I’m into the greys, and i want a warm grey, sort of like the Indian painting with a gallon of grey added. Grey is a neutral so it will go with just about anything you add to it. I wouldn’t worry if I were you. Go with your gut ( it’s done you well so far !) You can always repaint. ( : There is also a wonderful warm grey i found called Sleeping Cabin by Kilz that I bought to paint a couple of picture frames so they would stand out against the Indian painting and i love it so that’s a greyt i am definitely considering for a wall or two. Well have a great day. Sincerely, Diena <3
