Easy Chalkboard Pantry Sign

DIY, Projects

  1. I have to ask where did you get that wonderful wreath?!? I just LOVE it!!! The sign is darling also, I really like how you transferred
    the writing.

THANK YOU so much, Kimberly!I love the wreath too! I bought it from Antique Farmhouse! Love, Love, Love! 😀

  2. I really like your ‘pantry’ sign, and so simple. What really seems to define the sign and bring it up a notch is your wreath. The 2 together makes me want to do this project.
I have to go along with Brocanteuse Rose and ask where you got the wreath, or did you make it? It is outstanding. Pat.

I love this Shayna…I honestly never knew how to transfer a font to a chalkboard. It’s so easy! Your pantry door is wonderful and I don’t even know what to say about that wreath. I guess amazing will have to do. 🙂

    Hi Shayna-
Love this and so many of your projects- you have great style. Question- I notice you use the silhouette very often. I have a cricut, which I’m guessing is similar, but the cost to get a variety of cute fonts adds up fast. Can you talk to why you picked the sillouette and all the things you can do on it? I am wondering if switching is the same deal as the cricut of if it’s a better move for me. Thanks!

Hi Lacey! Yes, I do love my Silhouette! 😀 It’s quite awesome and so versatile! I probably know only half of what it can really do. The silhouette is absolutely fabulous with fonts. Whatever fonts you have downloaded to your computer can be cut with the silhouette. Any time you want a new one, you just download it. It has its own software for the computer where you can design anything you want. From there, you send it to the silhouette and it cuts it. I felt like I was getting more bang for my buck with the silhouette. So far, I’ve used it to cut so many things. It’s great with vinyl, paper, cardstock, and freezer paper, which I use a lot of. There was definitely a little bit of a learning curve for me, but once I figured it out, I was on a mission! 😀
Let me know if you have more questions! 😀

  6. […] Plus, I knew it would look simply fabulous with a big wreath and chalkboard pantry sign… […]
