Wall Lighting For The Office
Lots of glorious progress is happening in the new office. We’ve been spending any spare time we can muster trying to finish this room before farming takes over and he’s too busy to help finish our list of projects. And we really need to finish this room so the other original office can be completely cleaned out and turned into the new guest room space. The mess has to end at some point, right?
But since we have been making a good deal of progress in the room, I’m starting to focus my attention on the finishing elements of the space. Right now, my brain is all locked in on wall lighting for the office. I originally shared my vision for the office lighting in this mood board, but actually seeing it come together, and knowing some specific measurements of the shelves that the lighting will be going above, my original pick has altered…
We also had a few unexpected bills come up (bleh), so I’m trying to pinch pennies while still finishing this room how I want. There’s a balance, I’m sure of it, so I began my hunt to find beautiful, affordable wall lighting that would still fit the room and the feeling I’m going for. I’m also a huge lover of Amazon, and we’re prime members (love), so I started my search there and wasn’t disappointed in what I found. I know how hard it can be to find great lighting for a small price point, so I thought I’d share what caught my eye…

I can honestly say that I’ve considered each and every one of these lights for the office… that’s how much I love them! In the end though, I had to choose one that would be the best color, size, and shape for the space above the shelves on either side of the window. I can’t wait to show you what I picked, they’re on the way, but in the mean time I wanted to share my favorites! And because we don’t have wall lights wired on either side of the window in the office, we’ll be converting the new lights so they can be plugged in, just like our breakfast nook lights!
It’s safe to say, I love me some wall lights!

I bought two lights from Amazon, similar to picture #3, and am unable to find any bulbs to fit them. I have been told the bulbs may have to come from Sweden. so be careful because the lights are sitting in a box and I am unable to use them. 🙁
That’s so awful! I’m sorry to hear that. 🙁 We have the lights listed as #3 on the list in our breakfast nook and haven’t had any issues.
