Our Christmas Table
I think it’s safe to say that our home is officially decorated for Christmas… and I’m still not done. We’ve been making a few fun changes in the house and I’ve honestly had so much fun doing things a little bit different this year. I enjoy changing up our home, and we’ve been doing just that… mixing things up, adding in some new pieces and planning new and big projects for next year! My love for home is running full steam ahead!
Today, I’m sharing our Christmas table as part of the fun and inspiring “Styled & Set” holiday entertaining group of bloggers Lory from Designthusiasm started and organized! We’ve all gathered over the course of this week to bring you Christmas entertaining ideas, and today is my day to share!
If you’re joining me from Erin at Sunny Side Up, welcome! Isn’t she incredible? Her home is dreamy!
I reeeaalllly wanted to share our breakfast nook this time, but I’ve been waiting on a few new key pieces we ordered to arrive…. and they didn’t show in time. 🙁 So… I went back into our dining room, which never seems to disappoint.
I still have a little bit of decorating to do on our shelves, but the center focus of the room was the table!
I brought out a few black lanterns from my collection. They were the perfect centerpiece for the table.
Paired with fresh garland (I’ll share the easy tutorial a little later), pinecones, frosted berry picks, jingle bells, candles and rattan spheres, this table came together lovely!
I used my go-to dishes at each place setting (you can shop the post below)…
I’m so happy with how the table came together. I love all the different textures and elements.
I know table decorations can feel a little bit intimidating if you don’t do them very often. They can often seem over the top at times too, making it a little bit frustrating. There’s definitely a balance between making them feel welcoming, but not overwhelming. My tip? Keep trying your hand at decorating them. After you do a few different settings, they’ll come to you much more naturally! You’ll know what you like, and certain combinations that work really well!
Next on the holiday entertaining tour, is Ann from On Sutton Place! She’s one of my very favorite bloggers, and I always love seeing her new creations!
And if you’d like even more inspiration, check out these other awesome bloggers who are sharing their spaces as well!
