I love your new “old” light. I am really thinking about painting out a couple of our entry doors in black…seeing your again, I was wondering how you like it and what color and finish you used. Looking forward to seeing the bedroom post as well!!

I love your “new” light! It is perfect for your space! Can’t wait to see where the other one is going!

Where did you find the 1st light you had? Its exactly what I am looking for for our entry. Our ceiling is vaulted so it has to be a flush mount. I love the new light you found..it works perfect in your space!

Love it. I think it would look great painted black as well and accent the black door. Thanks for sharing.

Love it!! Just tonight I wondered if my light shades in bathroom would easily switch out with a mason jar. No. Not at all the same size. My luck of DIY tonight:-/ but I totally liked those books on that entry table (color–I’m the old lady with a some color!) and the mirror. It’s hard to make an entrance for your space has many openings but you have by using proper scale! It’s really striking the new pendant and accessories you’ve added.

Oh my I LOVE it!!! I love making old things new again and actually using them. It looks beautiful!!! Blessings from Missouri!!

Good morning. I just found the some light fixtures like that but it is just the shade. Can you help with how you hooked up the actual light to the fixture? Thank you.

Oh my, that light is awesome! I love finding antiques like that – so fun! 🙂

I think what makes light fixtures like yours….or any home accessory….special is the story behind them. My favorite part is the metal arm! I’m redoing a theater room into a Studio in our home and a friend just gave me four old light fixtures with similar shades as yours. She found them buried in the woods! The chipping and rusting is simply perfect, and I can’t wait to hang them 🙂

I love the light and that mirror over the small entry table is the exact mirror I have been looking for….can you tell me where you purchased it? I want to use it as a vanity mirror in our guest bathroom that will also have planked walls.

  12. […] You may remember when I shared a sneak peek of this light in our new entry light post… […]

  13. […] Light: Antique Mall, read more about it here. […]

How can you put a light(DIY) in the front porch when there is no light outlet to hang a light (without paying for an electrician)… solar light would not work with the shade and low sun in the winter

    THANKS
