Christmas Tree Night Tour

Merry almost Christmas! It’s so fun, and a little bit crazy, that Christmas is this week! I am so excited to celebrate the special day with my family. They are my most beloved, cherished, and sought after gift. They make me happy, and I couldn’t imagine a more perfect day, than to be spending it in their presence celebrating Jesus. He is the reason for the season.

Today, several of my blogging friends and I thought it would be fun to share our night tour… complete with beautiful twinkling lights that warm the heart. There is nothing I love more, than to curl up on the couch comforted by the cozy lights. They soothe a busy day, and remind me of the place I love most… home.

This is how it looks every night, except for maybe a few more random things laying around, because, hey… we live here! 🙂 Enjoy!

Our breakfast nook makes me smile every single night. It’s proof of hard work, patience, and love.

Anthony came home bearing wrapped gifts the other day. His helper (aka my mom, whom I call his Christmas Elf…) had just wrapped his gifts for me. He doesn’t mind wrapping his gifts, but he’s also been very busy harvesting corn, so he’s appreciated the help…

His helper sure does wrap lovely presents…

I spend most of my nights curled up on the couch staring at this tree…

  1. Shayna your home is stunning….anytime of the year, and I always love visiting your holiday home . Merry Christmas.

  2. Beautiful!! Cozy feel. I’m so far behind in details. All my pretty decorating just doesn’t show with projects finishing in every room. I cried. But my Mom called and said Its Christmas! Don’t worry. It’s supposed to be this way. I know this. I’ve written about the chaos going on the night of my Saviors birth. But it gets harder to do things as I did before. Yet I like to. But then like reading this, I have to accept how it is now for me. And thank God for pretty night lights. Bloggers who say This is time to truly dwell on my Savior. I’m already feeling better. Thank you! The Light came to Earth that night so that none of us have to live in darkness. Praise God for the light of Christ!!
