Master Bedroom Dresser Night Stand

Furniture Makeovers, Projects

  1. That is a lovely dresser makeover. It may have been a struggle but the wood stained top looks worth the effort. We ended up using small painted dressers as night tables as well. So much more surface and storage.

Lovely indeed!!! I did that with my girls changing dresser. Back then in an expensive store an option was to buy a small dresser about 32″ wide with three drawers. We put the pad on top. Then our child had a dresser. But I ended up using it in my great room to create a reading nook and this ever changing changing table got painted a Pottery Barn blackish brown to be next to our bed. It just got a new look with a Maison Blanche watered paint job to try to coordinate with a nightstand I purchased for me. A first?. And I love the look of coordinated yet not matchy-matchy. Plus I like the storage too!!! Not enough room for a chair but your nook looks fabulous. Every touch you do ends up looking so good!!! I do not think you’ve ever rested since you started this blog!!! But we your readers do relax by reading of all your creativity!!!

  5. Absolutely gorgeous makeover, Shayna! It sounds like it was a ton of work, but the payoff was huge! XO
