Great tour, Shayna! I love all of your open shelving and how you style everything! Gorgeous!

  2. Barbara says:

You have a beautiful home & I love how you’ve decorated it. I just love all your white dishes. I have been looking for something like the white ones you have with the line indentations ( not sure how to describe them) & the pic you have with the 4 mugs on the table. Where do you get them? I’m looking for something neutral so I can mix & match with color. Thanks for any info. I love following your blog. Gives me great ideas on decorating & DIY projects.

  3. Looks great, as always, Shayna! I opted for loads of fresh branches and clippings from trees in our yard too!

  4. Your home and style is absolutely flawless, Shayna! Great tour!

  5. Wanda says:

Absolutely love your home!!! I collect cutting boards & I drool over yours! Hope you’re going to have some round ones in your shop!!

  6. Love your home. Simply elegant style. I would like to know the paint color that you used! Thank you.

Would love to see your family room area. …keeps it real for us…lol .You have inspired me to bring some “cottage style” into my home.
    Thanks for sharing.

  8. Kay says:

Absolutely lovely, Shayna! I think the “new” black doors make the room look very sophisticated. And I love the open shelving.

  9. Your home is beautiful, Shayna! Love your style! I always loved summer on the farm too!

  10. Teresa says:

Your home is beautiful! It’s warm and inviting while having the crisp and clean feeling of a home without a lot of extra stuff. I absolutely love it. Your dining room is always my favorite with those rustic shelves:)

Its very kind to show us your home! I’m still enjoying in my head your vision for that old furniture and turning it into a gorgeous patio set. I am so colorful in my decor I’d give you heart failure!!! Yet I love the neutrals and how you’ve put it altogether. Love the pantry (?) door looking like boards. The chalkboard’s size really makes a statement. Love the simplicity of the wire baskets above the kitchen cabinets. What a beautiful home you’ve created!

  13. Stephanie says:

I’m loving EVERYTHING about your home, Shayna! It looks so warm & inviting with your use of whites & rich tones together. Could you tell me where your window shades are from? It looks like you might have them on 1 or 2 of your windows? I’m thinking of using these as a more budget friendly alternative to plantation shutters, and really like the way you used them in your space.
    Thank you so much!

  15. Kara says:

What paint colors did you use on your dining room walls and trim? I love your home and the cozy feel it has.

    • Shayna says:

Thank you so much, Kara! Our dining room is “Halo” by Benjamin Moore and the trim is “Super White” by Benjamin Moore! I hope that helps! 🙂

  16. Johan says:

Hi, could you tell me what boards (material) you used for your ship lap? I’m wondering if it’s just regular boards like pine that you stacked on top leaving a slight space in-between or if it is actually some sort of paneling that interlocks in the back?

  17. Lauren says:

I love your adorable kitchen! It’s beautiful!

  18. Lauren says:

Hi! Lovely house! I absolutely love the floating shelf with the 3 hooks underneath. Do you remember where you found those hooks?
    Thank you!
