Beautiful. You’ve got a cute little stool, an awesome olive bucket, and alive flowers that say “this ain’t Bliss’s porch!”.

  2. Love it, such a cute stool and the red is fabulous. I love the mums too. So pretty.

  7. Sweet Shayna,

Thank you so very much for sharing this project. You know, about a week ago I was with my husband browsing an antique mall here in Orlando Florida, and I saw a couple of stools just like the one in your project. They were in such dire need of some TLC and a good home. I did not get them, but you just gave me an idea, and I am planning to go back and see if they’re still available.

I love the red paint you picked, and although I simply love, love, love the color “green,” lately I have grown partial to”burnt orange.” This idea project will go great on my back porch side by side with a couple of vintage wooden apple barrels I picked up for almost nothing at a flea market.

I was already planning to fill them up with an array of Marigolds, Swiss Chard, Cabbage & Kale, Coleus and Croton. I can’t wait!

Again, Shayna I thank you for sharing your ideas with me, and for inspiring me to work a little harder in creating my home a haven. I so much love to read your posts.

I pray great blessings for you and your family.

May the grace of God be with you,
    Yolanda

THANK YOU so very much for the sweet comment, Yolanda! I’m so happy I’ve inspired you to create a home that you love! I hope you were able to snag those little stools. They are so cute and I’m looking forward to moving mine around each season! 😀
      HUGS and blessings to you!

  8. […] or small, tall or short, I just really love them. (Here’s proof some proof: Stool 1, Stool 2, Stool 3!) So much in fact, that I currently have four sitting in our garage. I can’t help myself. If […]

  9. […] And once I had it all painted, I added a protective coat of satin varnish to make sure it was really protected from the elements, just like I did with our red outdoor stool. […]
