I have another question for you. Where do you get most of your inspiration from? Did your mother inspire you? My daughter is constantly doing projects on her home…just like her mama! Usually that is how it goes. Someone inspires you along the way… and then you are addicted!! 😉

    • Shayna says:

Hi Diane! Thank you so much for the question! My mom did craft with me a lot, so I’m sure that I picked it up from her! As a child I was all about playing house and creating “forts” outside. I’d arrange and rearrange them until I found the next prime location to build another “house”. I was the same way with my Barbies. I loved playing with them so that I could design their homes. 😀
      It all makes sense now!

  6. Loved reading the questions and answers. Your blogs are always so interesting and I really enjoy them.
I need to be more of a neat-freak … used to be but as I got older, it was harder.
    You have a lovely home.

  7. Hi Shayna! Can you give me any info on your floorplan and/or builder? My husband and I are considering building, and I keep finding myself coming back to your blog! Love the open concept of your main floor, especially the nook and kitchen. I’ve been pokin’ around trying to find some details, but I am coming up emptyhanded. Thank You! ~Jenny

  8. […] while back (years ago…), I opened up the blog to take your questions. I thought today it would be fun to let you ask away […]
