Thanksgiving is truly one of my favorite Holidays. I love gathering together as a family and sharing the undeniable feeling of pure grateful bliss. It’s easy to get caught up with life, with what we don’t have, with our never ending wish list, but it’s important to remember the things we do have. We are blessed, and I don’t ever want to be un-grateful for all the incredible blessing that we have been given.
That’s one of the reasons I decided to create my Thanksgiving burlap placemats. They’re the perfect, gentle reminder for us to be grateful and to give thanks. It’s so incredibly important.
And even though Anthony and I will be traveling to spend Thanksgiving with his family, I couldn’t help but decorate our Thanksgiving table setting just as if we were going to host in our own home. Granted, I set the table on a much smaller scale, but this set up is easy to adjust for a larger table/ gathering…
It’s simple and understated, but beautiful…
I love white dishes, but the perfect touch of blue really made everything come alive…
And the pine cones (which I cleaned) with the dried leaf sprig is an easy item to move once the meal is ready to take place…
Plus, the sweet addition of the Thanksgiving sayings really add that extra punch…
And I love those vintage lace napkins. I found them at The Vintage White Market, and I didn’t give it a second thought before buying them…
I love the simple centerpiece of candles in different sizes. Simple and sweet.
But we all know the sweetest accessory to any table, is the wonderful people we get to spend the meal with…
Those people make all the difference…
And if you are hosting this season, may your home be warm and welcoming, and filled with those you love most.

I love your tablescape, so pretty and the placemats are fabulous.
Absolutely beautiful! So timeless! I am never disappointed by your style, Shayna. Definitely thinking of making those placemats now.
I loooove the placemats! Thank you for sharing!
Table is beautiful! Love your white dinnerware. Where did you get it?
Thank you so much! The white dinnerware is from the Dollar Tree. I love it too! 😀
Went and picked up some tonight at the Dollar Tree! 😉
That tableware is seriously from the Dollar Tree!?!?!?!?!?! It looks almost identical to the set I’ve been eyeballing from World Market but definitely not a dollar a piece! I’ll be heading there today! (Sorry for all the excitement but seriously I’ve been looking for a new setting for months lol)
That Dollar Tree dinnerware was one of the best things they ever got! I think everyone I know has some 😉 Myself included. Beautiful table Shayna.
Where did you get or how did you make the napkins? Love them.
I love them too! I bought them at an antique market. Sorry that’s not more helpful.
I do not see directions how to make placemats.
