Ok, I’m crushing on your crushes! Those plaid blankets! Wood cutting boards! Rosemary topiaries! Love it all. Thanks for the eye candy!

Dreamy! Love the beams too, white or natural or stained, they make me feel like i’m home! I’m a tree fanatic, I don’t know when it started or why, but I have pictures of them on my walls, and the beams make me think of outdoors and nature! Ha! maybe that’s why I love trees. I want those blankets, every single one of them. 😀

    • Shayna says:

I totally hear you about those beams… LOVE them! And don’t even get me started on those blankets… 😀

Ps. I didn't miss your Oct. review…just in case you were wondering lol;)

  7. […] I’m pretty much in love with them… They remind me of cutting boards, and we all know how I feel about those! […]

  8. […] I started the month by sharing a few of the things that I’m crushing on… […]

  9. […] A few months back I was at an estate sale and ran into a thick butcher block cutting board. It was dirty. And gross. And I almost didn’t take it because it looked absolutely disgusting. But, I do have a deep love for cutting boards… […]

  10. Ellie says:

I agree with all your crushes! One of my greatest treasures is a large, heavy, thick wooden cutting board that my grandfather made for my grandmother over 80 years ago. It has a small hole he drilled in the top so she could hang it on the wall and gently-rounded edges that he carved. It’s scarred and has cuts in it and I love it with all my heart. I don’t cut on it, but I use it for hot plates on the table. Every time I use it I think of all the meals that she so lovingly prepared for him, my mom and uncles, and then for me and our family.

  11. Johanna says:

Fab! the chopping board is <3. I admire your home, beautiful 🙂

  12. Michele says:

Hi Shayna, WOW I love your home designs I too love home decorating and feel it is so healing for the soul to love your home. I am in love with the big floor lantern in the cozy room picture. Can you please tell me where you got that? Thank you. Michele

  13. Jessica Johnson says:

I know this is kind of a silly question. But what kind of tape did you use in the photo for your kraft paper package. Everything I have used comes unstuck and the package opens up. The only thing that seems to work is packing tape and it looks horrible. Thanks so much!?
