2013 Fall Front Porch

I’m back today to share our fall front porch! I’ve had so much fun pulling everything together, so it definitely deserves its own post!

Inspired by the great outdoors, I based our entire front porch off of all the cozy elements that really scream fall to me.

I took full advantage of our corn field and chopped down several stalks to display. I just love them!

And an extra big welcome sign is sure to make everyone feel welcomed, including me! I’ll share the tutorial later this week!

I added our chalkboard sign pole and just love how it looks!

And after rummaging through my parents farm, I’ve also found several other items, like the crate and wire basket. I pulled the gallon mason jars out of my grandma’s basement.

I love a cozy place to sit and I’m already taking advantage of this one!

Wood slabs are great for risers and they give that extra element of texture, which I really love.

Remember back when I shared our wheat harvest? Well, I grabbed some of that too… it’s perfect in the jars!

Pinecones made an appearance too!

And I also have an obsession with this black and gray plaid…

And sweater blankets…

Now, as long as the wind doesn’t blow like crazy, this should last us until it’s time to decorate for Christmas…

Wait, did I just say Christmas? Oh goodness…

P.S. Don’t mind the wood glue that’s peeking out on the chairs… I didn’t notice it when I was editing the pictures… 😀

      1. I absolutely love that sign. I want to make one for my daughter for her birthday. How wide and tall was your wood. I found a piece of barn siding 6 ft tall by about 9″ wide. Can I get tall enough letters that would look good that would not be too wide. I would like your response.
        Thanks,
        Connie

    1. Awe, Marty! THANK YOU so very much for the super sweet comment! 😀

  1. Shayna,
This looks so welcoming and autumnal. I love all your touches. I am big into using blankets this fall as well. You have done it again and pulled together a lovely front porch! I need you to come help me with mine.

  2. Shayna … So very interesting, cozy, warm and inviting. Lucky to have your own field of corn for stalks and dried corn … so nice on the porch along with all the other elements … crates, wire baskets, split wood and cement pumpkins making it all so attractive. Just everything that I love.
I made one cement pumpkin and a few other cement items last week and hoping to use them in my Fall decorations. I love the look … thanks for the inspirations.
    Happy Fall.
