1 Tray, 5 Ways
It’s no secret that I love the DIY rustic chalkboard tray that I shared a while back.
Not only was it easy to make, but it’s so versatile.
Today, I’m sharing 5 different ways that it can be used.
1. Breakfast in Bed
I shared this idea originally, but it’s such a fabulous idea. Why not use it for a breakfast in bed delivery? It’s such an easy project, that it would be a great gift for mother’s day too…. after she enjoyed all the goodies on the tray!
2. Silverware Tray
Hosting a party? Here’s a perfect way to set out the silverware.
3. Fall Centerpiece
How pretty would it be in the entry way or as the table centerpiece? Love that freshly harvested wheat, too!
4. Christmas Centerpiece
Much like the fall centerpiece, this tray is perfect for a Christmas centerpiece too. Or what about using it as a Christmas countdown?
5. Writing Station
Apart from seasonal decorating, this tray is fabulous on any desk and makes for a perfect writing station.
And there you have it, 1 tray, 5 ways. And there’s still so many different ways to use it! It’s versatile!

Oh my! You are the best decorator!! Your style is what I’d like to achieve!!! And the board!!! I’m just not an outside the box thinker. You’ve inspired me! I forget the original post exactly(the how to make) but my hubby just cut down a tree that was not doing great and I was gone!!!! So I got not one limb to have it made into this:/
It’s the wood bark edge that makes it special.
